Free Story School Program for Families with Young Children

Avondale Elementary School District is excited to partner with Make Way for Books to offer Story School, a free, bilingual early literacy program for families with children from birth to age 5.

Story School provides a fun and engaging learning experience for families and young children. During each session, families participate together in interactive read-alouds, music and movement, and hands-on activities that help build early literacy skills and foster a love of reading.

📍 Location: Lattie Coor School
📅 Dates: April 8 – May 15
🗓 Days: Wednesdays and Fridays
⏰ Time: 12:45 – 1:45 p.m.

Families who register and attend will also receive free books to help build their home libraries and support reading at home.
This is a wonderful opportunity for families to learn, play, and grow together while helping their children develop important early learning skills.
