Students in grade 6-8 are eligible to try out for varsity sports. Students in grades 5-7 are eligible to try out for junior varsity sports.

Participating schools include: Avondale Middle, Centerra Mirage STEM Academy, Copper Trails, Desert Star, Desert Thunder, Michael Anderson, and Wildflower Accelerated Academy.

Winter sports tryouts are coming up!  Girls basketball, flag football, cheerleading, and cross country tryouts are November 18, 19, and 21, 2024, after school.  Students in grades 5-8 are eligible to tryout.

All athletes must have a sports physical and be cleared by the school nurse prior to tryouts.
